Celebrate! That’s the theme for our next Socolofsky family reunion, when we will gather to celebrate the 150th anniversary of our family’s arrival in the United States, July 3 – 6, 2026. Our setting will be the charming coastal village of Cambria, California, located between Los Angeles and Monterey on California’s Central Coast. The Reunion Hosts look forward to sharing this slice of paradise with you.
Our primary hosts for this reunion and group activities include Mary Sue and Paul Ingraham, Carol Parker, Tricia Rowe, Kathleen Socolofsky, and David Ingraham, all of whom have experience with the area and highly recommend the beauty and variety of activities for all ages. Kathy Erickson will be helping with the reunion as well, and the hosts look forward to some scouting trips with her to help her develop local expertise.
We expect our reunion and group activities to be based out of the historic Cambria Pines Lodge, perched in a forest setting above Cambria’s historic East Village. The Lodge is a frequent go-to site for family reunions and offers an array of on-site amenities for Socolofskys of all ages. Town is a short walk away down the forest trail into the East Village or is a very short car ride away. If you prefer, your reunion hosts can recommend alternative lodging at some lovely motels in town or at area campsites.

A little reunion history
The first Socolofsky immigrants arrived in Peabody, Kansas on July 4, 1876. In this century, about every 3 years, the Socolofsky descendants get together on July 4 to celebrate our past, discuss our lives, and talk about the future. On July 4, 2017, we got together in Portland Oregon with theme of Ad Astra per Aspera Diaspora – How the Socolofsky Volga Russian emigrants dispersed from Kansas. On July 4, 2022 our reunion was in Estes Park, Colorado with the theme of “An accurate view of the past: Celebrating Socolofsky Women.”
